Australian native, Richard Steggall, is the founder and Executive Chairman of Urban FT. Richard is a results-driven entrepreneur with a record of success and a passion for accelerating and capitalizing on emerging opportunities. Serving as CEO of Urban FT for nearly a decade, Richard recently assumed the role of Executive Chairman and continues to work closely with the Urban FT management team and other board members to help set the company vision and explore acquisitive opportunities, domestically and internationally.
Under his leadership as CEO, Richard and team developed the world’s first and most capable, FinTech Core. Directly prior to founding Urban FT, he was founder & CEO of Waspit Group Inc., a banking alternative for students. Before entering the FinTech space, he spent 17 years in IT&T, serving as COO of UK-based Burlington Rye Plc and head of corporate strategy for NASDAQ-listed and U.S.-based Kit Digital Inc. (formerly Roo Media Inc.). In these roles, he was responsible for the growth strategies of private and public companies in North America, the U.K. and Asia. Throughout his experience, Richard has focused on acquisitive and capital growth and led IPOs (including via reverse mergers) across the globe.
Cliff Mason is a financial services captain of industry, bringing proven leadership and extensive knowledge to his newly appointed role as CEO of Urban FT. His experience spans the payment industry value chain from payment networks and processors to professional services, underlined with extensive expertise in ACH, credit, debit, prepaid, and alternative payment systems, including digital banking solutions. A results-oriented leader and former Executive Chairman of Urban FT, Cliff is revered for transforming organizational structures that do not fit the mold but fit the vision, with innovation, building top-performing teams and forging partnerships focused on optimal efficiency, value and profitability.
John brings over 35 years of experience in global payments and banking to the Urban FT board, with 25 of those years serving in executive/C-level roles. A former CPO at Mastercard, and COO of MetaBank and NetSpend, John is currently involved with a number of FinTech businesses, such as Intenda, Cyborn, and E6, as well as several Board positions. At the cutting edge of developing and implementing new ideas and managing change in both large and small organizations, John has a proven track record of turning success in the payments’ industry.
Aditya is a seasoned industry expert with a unique balance of international banking and entrepreneurial experience. He is currently the CEO of Tallyx, a FinTech focused on transforming global trade and supply chain finance, and formerly served as managing director of Citi Global Digital Strategy, driving successful digital transformation across consumer and corporate banking for over half a decade. Before spearheading Tallyx and leading Citi Global Digital Strategy, Aditya was a three-time entrepreneur, founding companies in trade finance and cash management systems. Prior to his entrepreneurial accomplishments, he served as the first CIO of Yes Bank (India) and Group CIO of mPhasis. Aditya is also a guest lecturer on disruption in financial services at Moody’s.
Christine brings a wealth of experience in PE-backed companies in fintech, education, logistics, and healthcare. She’s currently a partner at YuanMing Capital, a VCPE fund, and previously she was CFO for a private education enterprise. She also served as CFO for a $3B logistics-tech unicorn – backed by Alibaba and Softbank – which went public on NYSE. She began her career working for world-class financial services firms including Merrill, Bank of America, JPMorgan, American Express, and Goldman Sachs. Having worked in New York, London, Singapore, Hong Kong, and China, Christine has managed teams across four continents. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in economics from Fudan University in Shanghai.

Cliff’s experience also spans executive roles at world-class payments technology firms including TSYS and TXvia, where he drove substantial revenue growth leading up to the company’s sale to Google.
A recognized business savant and leader, Cliff is the recipient of the prestigious Synovus Financial Leadership Award for his demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills within his organization and community. He was also recognized as Executive of the Year by In Business Madison, received the silver award for Executive of the Year from One Planet Best in Business and Professional Excellence Awards, and the silver award for Executive of the Year (Medium Companies) from Best in Biz Awards.
Passionate about family, community and renovation, Cliff serves on the Board of Habitat for Humanity in Dane County, WI, and is a former chairman of the State Theatre of Georgia.
Nikhil serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Urban FT, which is recognized as one of the most progressive and successful FinTech companies in the Financial Services industry today, and is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, and operational cash management. Prior to joining Urban FT, he held senior roles with The Walt Disney Company and Grant Thornton, LLP. Directly before joining Urban FT, he served as Head of Accounting and Finance for Wipit, a mobile wallet and prepaid card provider to telcos. During his time at Wipit, he led the growth of the finance team by creating processes and procedures, accounting systems implementation, and cost savings initiatives.
In her role as Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, Sophia is responsible for executing integrated marketing and communications initiatives aligned to client and colleague engagement, sales goals and business strategies.
Richard serves as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) for Urban FT, which is recognized as one of the most progressive and successful FinTech companies in the Financial Services industry today. In his role, Richard is responsible for the development of Urban FT’s contract pricing, internal platforms, data analytics, and M&A activity. He has more than 25 years’ experience in financial services with expertise in product development and distribution, data mining, and lease financing. Prior to joining Urban FT, Richard was the CEO of CFC Technology, a remote deposit capture provider that was acquired by Urban FT in 2019.
As Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Urban FT, which is recognized as one of the most progressive and successful FinTech companies in the Financial Services industry today, Sid is responsible for technology and solution development. His focus is working with the growth team to shape technology strategy in support of bleeding edge product innovation and growth for Urban FT and their client portfolio of financial institutions. He received his master’s degree in financial engineering from New York University.
In her role as VP of Experience at Urban FT, which is recognized as one of the most progressive and successful FinTech companies in the Financial Services industry today, Viktoryia leads the team of talented designers and researchers and drives the execution of strategic initiatives and product roadmaps. She is an Experience Designer with strong expertise in consumer and business Financial Services. Viktoryia takes an active role in designing better solutions with her team and ensures the focus is on creating effective, intuitive interfaces and meaningful experiences.
Kelly’s role centers around her ability to connect with Urban FT’s clients and help them navigate the often-confusing maze of fintech solutions available to them. As VP of client growth and success, she is both a customer-advocate and problem-solver. By working on the frontline alongside clients, Kelly helps them implement the solutions they need and introduces the products available to them across Urban FT’s product portfolio so they can better serve their customers.
As VP of Strategic Client Management, Jake serves as a core client liaison, customer advocate and problem solver. He works in lockstep with clients to ensure the best customer experience from implementation to operations. By working on the frontline, Jake can help clients navigate the often-confusing maze of FinTech solutions on the market and introduce them to the best-suited products across Urban FT’s portfolio to help them deliver exceptional customer-driven digital experiences.
John currently serves as Urban FT’s Chief Revenue Officer. In this role, he focuses on forging new relationships with customers and prospects. A 30-year payments and alternative finance industry veteran, he was a founding member of LendingClub, served as the CEO of BizFi and spent 17 years at MasterCard in multiple roles. He is also a sought-after advisor and board member to various start-ups in the fintech space.
In her role as VP, Accounting, Jennifer oversees all day-to-day accounting related functions and responsibilities.
Travis conducts discovery calls with potential and existing clients as part of pre-sales and post-sales efforts, understand the key requirements of the client, independently or collaboratively draft and deliver detailed presentations for our clients, deliver product and platform demonstrations to show the functional and technical capabilities offered by Urban FT, and curate customized solutions for to meet the client’s needs.
In her role as Senior Director, Project Management & Implementations, Krystal supports former Digiliti, MyRdc, Digital Advantage products.
In her role as Sr. Director, Client & Product Support, Jackie is responsible for the strategies and structure of Urban FT’s client success team, building and maintaining relationships with clients and key personnel within the direct RDC customer base.
In her role as Director, Risk Mitigation and Internal Resource, Ingrid is responsible for a number of regulatory, risk mitigation and human resource obligations the company has.
